Northern Ireland

Ireland Photography Tour

Is there a more famously beautiful country on the planet than Ireland? I mean, it’s almost synonymous with beauty. But somehow, there’s a distinct lack of photography tours and workshops exploring Ireland. Maybe it doesn’t feel as “exotic” as places like Namibia, Patagonia, or Iceland. But I assure you, it’s just as photogenic.

In 2026, I’ll be leading a landscape photography tour of Ireland.

The focus of this tour will be exploration – particularly on the Wild Atlantic Way. We will photograph classics like the Cliffs of Moher. But, we’ll also seek out lesser known photo locations, discover our own compositions, and find our own inspiration. In Ireland, that inspiration is never far away.

FAQs For the Ireland Photography Workshop

What is the Accommodation Like?

We’ll be in 3-star+ accommodation. On the west coast of Ireland it will mostly be bed and breakfast style accommodation.

What does a typical day look like?

No two days will be the same, but it might look like:
– 430am wake up
– 5am head to photograph sunrise location
– 7am return to accommodation for breakfast
– Free time to catch a nap or photo edit.
– Drive to new hotel. Have lunch
– Free time to nap or photo edit.
– 5pm dinner
– 8pm head to photo location for sunset

What’s a single supplement?

The price of the tour is based on twin share. Meaning that if you’ve booked solo, you’ll be paired with another participant of the same gender for your accommodation. With a single supplement, you get your own private accommodation throughout the trip.

Is there lots of hiking?

The easy answer is there’s as much as you’d like. For the most part, most of our locations are a short walk from where the nearest car park is. But for the ambitious ones, there might be options to go farther afield to try finding more unique angles and compositions.

When are payments due?

Final payments will be due 90 days prior to the start date of this trip.
